In spring 1988, AIE was born as a sled dog demonstration on the grounds of the Chilkoot Barracks Haines.
Dan and Chris Turner offered visitors to Haines, Alaska a glimpse into the life of a musher and a taste of mushing action. The sport of dog mushing is a lifestyle, and the sport of glacier dog mushing is even more unique. It is with immense gratitude that we thank all the guests who have barked with our team over the years, and acknowledge the efforts our crews put forth to ensure a memorable guest experience.
