Jesse Flory

Jesse Flory is a dog musher who has been running dogs for almost 13 years and has owned his own dogs for almost 7 years. At 34 years old, he has spent the last 5 years in Durango, Colorado, and has also worked with sled dogs in Wyoming and Alaska. Jesse has been working with Alaska Icefield Expeditions since around 2012, and in 2018, he was promoted to manage the Herber Glacier location.

Ashley Sargent

Ashley Sargent is from a small town in Utah and began working with dogs about four years ago at a friend’s company. She has found that being a dogsled tour guide is the best job she has ever had. Ashley believes sled dogs are some of the hardest working animals, and her love for working with them has grown through her experiences.

Joey Sabin

Joey Sabin is an experienced dog musher who runs a kennel called Voyageur Outdoor Adventures. He has 23 Alaskan Huskies and offers guided tours and adventures. He’s an avid outdoorsman who enjoys exploring the wilderness.

Josi Thyr

Josi Thyr developed a passion for mushing at a young age, starting with her pet Siberian husky. This passion grew into an obsession and she now lives with around 20 sled dogs. When she’s not offering mushing tours, Josi enjoys racing and has set the goal of participating in the Iditarod.

Kenneth Dolbee

Kenneth Dolbee is a musher based in Durango, CO. He has a passion for outdoor activities such as camping and hiking, and also enjoys cooking and spending quality time with friends.

Sam Martin

Sam Martin has been living in Juneau, Alaska for the past five years. He has developed a passion for sled dogs and is eager to share his love of the area with visitors. This year, he is thrilled to be working as a tour guide for Alaska Icefield Expeditions and to showcase the beauty of the Herbert Glacier to guests.

Wade Donaldson

Wade is a full time musher, running tours on the Glacier in the summer and working for his family’s dog sled touring business Bear Ridge Adventures, near Park City, UT, in the winter. In his spare time he enjoys riding horses, working with livestock, and being in the mountains.
